SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 25

Wiedebusch, Macnaughtan, Jones and Chernenko)
Requesting the governor to issue a proclamation declaring the
first week in June, 1994, as "West Virginia Garden Club
Week".
Whereas, The garden clubs of West Virginia are involved in
projects and activities which daily reflect their dedication and
commitment to the conservation and enhancement of our natural
resources for the public good; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby commends the garden clubs of the
state of West Virginia for their continued interest in preserving
the beauty of the state's natural resources; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Senate hereby requests that the
governor of West Virginia hereby issue a proclamation declaring
the first week in June, 1994, as "West Virginia Garden Club
Week"; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the governor of the state of
West Virginia.
